About this species:
Meadow Rue is a delicate, herbaceous perennial plant found in moist meadows, woodlands and along stream banks. It is known for its graceful, divided, fern-like foliage and tall slender stems that produce clusters of small, fluffy flowers in shades of white, pink or lavender. They have separate male and female plants, with very distinguishable characteristics. Blooming in late spring to early summer, Meadow Rue adds a soft, ethereal charm to naturalized gardens and landscapes. This hardy plant thrives in partial shade and damp, well-drained soil, making it a favorite among gardeners seeking a touch of wild elegance.
